Where in Canada can I purchase an Asus machine? I know they are of good quality and i'm looking for a small one, no bigger than 14.1" at a reasonable price point, max $1500 CAD if possible. Any suggestions?

Usually ppl here buy from MilestonePC (who hangs around these forums) or NCIX ...
There are also certain ASUS models in Circuit City and Office Depot if you want to check them out. -
For a machine under $1500, especially after taxes, your best options is t get a barebone, such as the Z35f.

I would definitely recommend MilestonePC.com too. Just received my W3J+ (the refresh model) a couple days back from them with a RAM upgrade. Their service and everything else is just great. Love this notebook too, it's awesome.

Milestone.
NCIX.
A&B Sound.
New Type Computers. -
I was planning on buying from NCIX and having them price match MilestonePC... with the group buy, you could probably get the W7J @ 13.3" with a dedicated GPU for close to your asking price. The A8Jm will have more power though in a 14"

i plan get mine from ETC computers.. for some reason, the z96j from ETC is $200 cheaper than Milestone.. same specs..
-
go for it !
I did it !
nice people, price always cheaper then milestone pc or other ! -
Where is ETC? Do you have a link?

I don't even make $200 on one notebook
-
I just did some searching and priced out the exact same system at both retailers and found Milestone cheaper.
-
Thanks PC... I don't see the notebooks that I'm interested in, but the other prices don't strike me as lower than anyone elses. Never heard of a single positive/negative review on their service (besides in this thread of course)

And thats why you should go with MilestonePC. I recommend them, especially over canadacomputers.
-
i said for the z96j.. rest are same... maybe MPC offers somethin with it that ETC doesnt.

OTA Computer Center on College is also very reputable, been in business for a loooong time. I got my Asus there in June.

Did not know they have Asus laptops. I have been doing business with them for ages, great guys... I recommend 100%.
