Hello all, I have decided to purchase the G1S and I live in Toronto, Canada. I was wondering if anyone had any experience on ordering onlineand the reputation of the company, shipping time etc.

any suggestions would be appreciated (hopefully some personal experiences with the companies as well :) ) thanks all!

You can pick one up from one of the many dealers in Toronto, about half a dozen in the downtown core, and about a dozen dealers in Markham alone if you want it now.

However, if you want to save PST, you can order from an out of province store like NCIX.

They are small shops, usually along College, west of Spadina.

Check the ASUS Sticky and the FAQ, there is a list of dealers, you'll have to check if they have it in stock first.

how about milestonepc.com? I know they're Canadian, and seem to be very highly regarded.

Dont forget there is a rebate form for Canadian purchased G1S on the Asus thread. You can get $90 back. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me, wish they had one for us Americans

I picked up my G1S last week at Infonec's HQ near Steeles and Warden for $1979.95. There is a 3% Credit Card fee.

I initially ordered from MilestonePC but I had a bad experience with them. They had problems upgrading the HD and delayed me two days before I decided to purchase from Infonec.

gordongraydon, it is not the FAQ link that is in coriolis's post (that link is to the Buying a notebook FAQ and is automatically created when you type the word FAQ).

This is the link, it is on the Asus Forum (located here):
