So I've had this laptop for a few months now, just suddenly I've noticed that the speakers let out a buzz/humming noise when you turn them up (as in, it gets louder as you increase the volume).

I have absolutely no idea what it could be caused by - I haven't really turned the speakers up all the way except a few times to play a couple songs (this was not recently, probably a month or so back). Other than that, the volume has pretty much stayed halfway or lower.

Sorry, I can't really give out any more information on the problem, but was hoping for some ideas on what it could be.

    Thanks.

Edit: Crap sorry, realized that there was another program making the noise which wasn't showing up in the task bar. Had to close it through task manager.

    Close this thread, please.

What was the program? If only to make the thread worthwhile. :)
