My speakers have been emitting a high pitch beep/buzz after loading windows.
    Whats odd is that
    1)It's mute-able
    2)It's a different pitch sometimes
3)It sounds like feedback (in fact my built-in mic would go nuts if i put my hand over the mic)
4)If i put my hand over the speaker the sound will go away..and come back only if i release my hand. I do not have to put any weight on it

Now this only started happening after the mandatory INSTALLATION of windows live messenger. I've disabled it ..and the buzzing/beep is still 90% present during load up.

    any suggestions  ?

Well, probably it's just feedback with the microphone. Mute the microphone and it should go away.
