    I have looked all over but can't find an answer -- would somebody who owns one please let me know what wifi chip / card is installed? Thanks.

    You can find this out by simply opening your "device manager", click on network adapters and look for the type of wireless card installed.

    Yes, I could do that very simply. With my eyes shut. Maybe even blindfolded.

    It's the conjuring up a c302 that I seem to be having difficulty accomplishing.

    Wrong incantations?

    I would make it easy on myself and pay. Perhaps. But then I might want to know some basic information. Like what kind of chipset is used for the wifi and bt. Like a vendor and product id. Which somebody could let me know by simply opening their c302 ....
