the c90 has very serious memory compatibility issues. I believe one c90 owner ( vicious ) tried OCZ in his c90 and it didnt work. My 2gb corsair does not work as well.

MOst 1gb sticks do not have problems. But if you really want to be sure, have ur reseller put the RAM in for you, or search thru the forums about the compatible 2gbx1 pc sticks. ( I think Kingston or Supertalent works.... as this is used by gentech ) Try it first and run in battery power to test its compatibility.

I am using 2x1GB PC5300 of PNY RAM that I picked up at CompUSA for 40 each, they work flawlessly. They are Nanya based RAM and I have had zero issues with them.

Add the new batch of 1GB Kingston to incompatible list, the new batch on Kingston 1GB uses Micron IC, it doesn't work.

do you think that the 2gb OCZ kit (2 x 1024mb) of that ram would be fine?? I don't plan on getting 3 gb for a long time, just seems like overkill atm

I tried 2gb OCZ, 2gb Gskill, and 2gb Corsiar all 3 didnt work actully and I ended up going with 2x1gb of Nanya.

The 2gb sodimms are very hard to get working, if your buying your own ram I recomend 1gb size ones.

Also its not the brand its the IC's so just saying I am buying "X" brand doesnt mean it will work even if it did work for somebody else. Even more so with the 2gb size where I swear some people have gotten the same IC's and it still randomly only works with certian peoples machines.

Most 1 gigs are fine. Corsairs are fine.
