I still Have not got my C90 yet but from what I hear the ddr3 video card dosnt work with a bunch of games. Is that true? and if it is true what are the most popular games that dont work yet?

The card technically works with the game, but there is a driver problem. The driver that comes with the card is old now and hasn't been updated for new games. Normally you would be able to go to laptopvideo.com and get some updated drivers but so far when people do that, it almost cut the cards performance in half. Take a look at this post, probably explains it better

Yes, I would get the ddr3 card, it's faster.

Kickace, what, if anything, are you planning to replace the C90s with after you sell it? Just curious.

klok, Ken at Gentech posted on this board yesterday that a new driver for the gddr3 card will be released by Asus...not sure when though.

This doesnt mean much to me, when they say a new driver it could be only one revision higher when we have gone already about 8 revisions higher in just a couple of months.

It may or may not address the issues had with the old drivers. It also may have overclocking locked or aspect scaling blocked. Two important things.

They should just dig down and give us the info on how to modify new drivers to work correctly. us tech savvy people can figure it out with a helping hand and then redistribute the newest drivers as they come. Its a win/win situation. We get the best/newest drivers and asus wont have to constantly try to come up with updated drivers to keep us happy.

Its that whole catch a man a fish vs teaching him how to fish story....

Good point Vicious. Well, let's hope they 'something' to remedy the situation.
