Hey guys I noticed a good drop in low usage cpu activity and wanted to see if anyone else experiences it with it. Now my fans drop to their low low inaudible phase alot more. My CPU temp also dropped a few degrees. Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks again for the heads up Forerunner..but have you noticed any gaming performances with rcsp1 and the new vid-drivers?
I'll try it on my G1s when I get home :D

WEll I'm not sure but I saw an improvement in COD4. Though it could be the result of the .21s or the vista update or both. I know about sp1s added support for DirectX 10.1 but I'm not sure if it has any improvements to dx in general.

I've been on SP1 beta for a long time but the only thing I saw was the GPU idle clock being 168/100 like on XP rather than 275/200 so 1:30 rather than 1:20 on battery for me.

Due to my bandwith limit, I'll have to wait until january (or very late december) before downloading the SP1 RC

The Idle clock in vista for me is 168/100, and on battery it only goes to 275/200.

It was introduced as a stand-alone patchtoo (like almost every SP1 updates)

Ah well. Gonna reinstall christmas day anyways. I wonder if I can use the same key for both x64 and x86 ultimate at the same time on the same computer?

Hey guys any report with the heat? Like seriously my c90 is alot cooler after sp1. You know the bottom bump near the cpu on the bottom? That gets nowhere near as hot now when I'm browsing and playing poker, low load stuff.

74,72 with sp1 installed. Don't know what it was before. Oh, and psqltray was at 1.2gb's. That probly heated it up.
