I love all the bells and whistles on my new C90, but it doesn't do me much good if I keep getting BSoD.
Every time the Blue Screen appears, it's always display driver related. Typically it says DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, othertimes, it would load faster than I could read all of it. So, I updated my Nvidia driver.
It says, "You are running a 32-bit uninstaller on a 64-bit system." I click OK. Then, I get "System detected that the operating system in use is not Windows Vista [64-bit]..."
I'm really confused. Not sure what to do, and I wonder if this is a BIOS error.
Thanks.

Uninstall the current drivers from the device manager, then make sure you have the newest drivers made for your OS from the nvidia page (or laptopvideo2go) You dont just install new drivers over the old ones.
To be really safe you would even restart the computer after you uninstall before installing the new ones.
If you have issues still look for driver cleaner its a program that removes video card drives and all the smaller pieces like the registry entries that normal unistall may not get. -
Have the same bsod so does Chrisvolker.
I have tried both 16*.** drivers and stock drivers same bsod appears. Ive also tried. Vista fresh install with stcok driver but the bsod wont go away. Thing is i only get them on battery if im plugged in i dont get any error so i dont think it is directly related to gpu drivers..
If you are only getting the bsod on battery then i dont think drivers are going to help you. Though if you find a solution then please share.
Right now i sort of made my peace with it and im hoping new bios will fix this issue.
