I received my C90 yesterday (from gentech). It is setup as follows:

    E6600 2.6Ghz Conroe
3gb Ram (from gentech, so I assume Nanya)
    160gb 5400rpm HDD
    BIOS 704
    ...everything else standard...

    1. No heat issues. Its 66.6 degrees in the room I am in and the exhaust from the laptop is only warm. When it kicks into overclock mode on a stress test (superpi, 3dmark06 looping), the heat out the back gets hotter, but it nothing out of the ordinary. The fans start up and go fast, but the sound is hardly irritating, actually pretty cool. Both palm rests and remarkably cool, the left is slightly warmer than the right, but only barely.

    2. ONLY HAD BSOD issues ONCE. I'm typing this on battery right now, in gaming mode, which I just changed to from Overclock mode both with TurboGear and Windows powersaver. I haven't had a crash, have had only one BSON. When I switched to battery, it posted 1hour 31 minutes remaining. This is before I ran the battery to nothing, so I anticipate it getting better.

    3. Webcam works fine, fingerprint reader is cool and works fine. Everything I've tested works fine

    4. Only issue I've had was being unable to shut down on battery. Unplugged, I selected ShutDown, and the LCD shut off, but the fans and the processor kept running. All is well

I've had no real problems. I'll keep posting though, touch wood.

    Added:

All the quicklaunch buttons work, although I don't use Windows mail, and it doesn't support hotmail. The
The Function buttons all work, except for the num.pad fn. buttons. I can't seem to get then to work, but I wouldn't use them anyways, so I dont mind.
System recovers from full shut down in 24 seconds (ballpark, I counted in my head)
System shuts down in 9 seconds (again, ballpark)
Fraps in CS:S Video Stress Test: 192.4fps. I'd say not bad? Fair to say it runs CS:S really well, same with AOE2 and AOE3, although they aren't particularly demanding.
Noise: Quieter than the Acer Travelmate I've used in the past
Keypad: Not cramped, actually almost the same size as the keyboard on my desktop
Speed: It hasn't had any trouble doing anything. It transferred 3.73GB of music from an iPod in less than 20 minutes, then copied it all again in 15. The fans never really kicked into anything other than what I would call standard speed.
    Screen: A thing of beauty
Touchpad: I wouldn't say deplorable at all, its actually functional, although I use a wireless mouse most of the time
SD slot: Works fine, I transferred files from a 1gb SD card with no problems. It was recognized instantly and went ahead without problems.
USB: Pretty tight slots, which make a satisfying click when you plug into them. Made me feel like I would break them the first time I inserted a USB cable in, probably because I'm used to really loose slots on my desktop. The rear usb port is really nice to have for a wireless mouse, its doesn't stick out past the fans at all, and is totally out of the way.
Recharge Time: Its gone from 3% to 12% in the time it took me to type this edit (6/7 mins).
Speakers: Pretty flat, but about what I expected from laptop speakers.
Headphone jack: very tight again like the USB. Absolutely not sloppy and loose like other have reported

    congrats,
gentech usually ships a 2gb kingston + 1 gb nanya. you can use cpu-z to check memory brand without opening the laptop itself.

weird about the shutdown... so plugged in it shuts off correctly?

The numpad buttons are activated when u hit numlock, not with fn. The only time the fans get louder than my brothers desktop is when im playing a game like bf2 in overclock mode. Most of the time its silent.

Congratulations on the laptop, I'm planning on buying one soon I've always been worried about the heat coming from the desktop processor but if its only warm air coming out the back then its fine.
