Hey guys, wanted to get some advice and see if anyone else have had this issue. This has been a worsening problem as of late. When I plug in the power adapter into the laptop, I have to wiggle the cable for it to make a connection. I am not sure if it's the cable or the connector on the laptop that is making the shoddy connection. Anyone experience this? Is Asus good about replacing things like the power adapter in a timely mannor? My girlfriend bought this for me for christmas and I put all the components together. She did not buy any additional warrenties or anything.

    Thanks
    -Will

I'll assume the adapter connection has never been stressed due to a abrupt pull or fall, I've had to repair a couple of friend's laptops "due to cats".

From my experience Asus is excellent with replacement parts. See below.

As or the adapter, there is a known issue with some AC adapters and a specific mobo revision perhaps this could be the case.

In any case I would not hesitate to contact Asus support by phone (don't bother with email)

Get a new Power adapter and see if it does the trick.

If there is a good connection between the laptop's power socket and the connector I can only think of the cable as the problem since the laptop is too new to have significant wear on the power socket as to cause loose connections.

In any case I would RMA the power adapter.
