Okay, I have read the other threads, and don't know what is up with my HDMI-Out port. So about a month ago I used the HDMI out, same cables, same monitor and everything, and it worked fine. Now, I just tried hooking it up and the C90 is not even seeing the TV and vice versa. Granted, it could be a problem with the cable, but this is a pretty nice cable which hasn't had issues in the past...what could be going on?

Have you changed drivers for your video card? That would be my first guess, other than that testing the cable wont hurt.

Same drivers... I guess somehow my cable is messed up, nothing happened to it... It has protective carbon insulation (The type Monster cables use), I would be shocked if it were broken. Well guess I am gonna hit up BB tomorrow for a new cable.

This is an issue ive been on top of since december 2006. With each release of Nvidia forceware, tv output options change. One version may work fine while even the slightest update will break it. There is no consistency concerning the functionality area of forceware creation. Each release tends to improve performance but completely ignores functionality of the card. Ive made a lot of comments in the forums about the hdmi tv out or tv out in general with 8x00 series carsds. As of right now this works fine:

First uninstall drivers, and run guru3d driver cleaner in safe mode. Then install forceware 169.21, 169.25, or 169.28. Immediately do the following after hooking up TV and swithing to hdmi input:

    1. Switch to dualview mode with HDTV as secondary display

    2. Go to "resize hdtv" in left pane

    3. Click the "resize my desktop" radio button, click apply

    4. Change to clone mode

THATS RIGHT TOO!!!! I forgot, I had that issue too. When you hook up the hdmi cable you have to wait until the mobility center picks it up. If it doesnt detect it then you have to go to the windows mobility center to detect it. Then apply my method to fix overscan...if you have any.
