Now these are my only problems with the C90S and I seriously consider them more like nitpicking. I'm overall happy with my C90S, haven't had to many problems that couldn't be fixed or weren't fixed by updates. Turbo Gear works now running in Windows XP and its wonderful (yes, WONDERFUL)!

My current problem is with the ATK Hotkeys. There are four hot keys, Internet which launches the default internet browser (FireFox or IE) and a Email button which only opens up Outlook, Touch Pad on/off and Turbo Gear button with which to change modes in Turbo Gear.

They were smart enough to make the Internet button open up the default browser, why the heck did they program the email button to only open up Outlook and not the default email program is beyond me. I normally uninstall Outlook and I can't use it with my Hotmail acount. Would anyone know how to fix or change this to say Windows Live Mail or Hotmail?

Next the Turbo Gear mode hotkey also does not work anyone had any luck with this?

Also can't turn the Wifi antenna off with FN+F2.

Hmm there is definitely a way but it would require some research.

From what I hear from other Asus users, (like the g1s) there internet key only opens IE even when they have put another browser as default so I guess look on the bright side atleast you have 1 out of 2 :p

I honestly can click my quick launch icon faster than I can hit that button on the notebook, or with my wacom I can use a pen flick to launch a program.

I can not for the life of me get 3gb to work, maybe with the new bios it will when it comes out.

if I dont sell my 2gb Gskill stick before the new bios I'll test it. If I do, oh well.

2gb is doing fine for me. I didn't notice any difference with 3gb really.

No I didn't, I know this is a mod question, but does the wireless console effect preformence? In Vista it worked without it on my C90S and in XP/Vista the Wireless console dragged (censored) on my P105-S9722/9337.

Works just fine now, I installed the utility (took the chance). No noticeable slow down. On my other notebook it was just part of the blotware though I did like the Toshiba's radar like ability, but it did drag.

I do have to say that is a useless taskbar icon, now I have a icon for the WiFi/Bluetooth antenna, Toshiba bluetooth manager and my default windows wireless lan manager.

Now just the Turbo Gear and Email buttons.

*EDIT* New problem, wireless manager won't start on start up?!?

*EDIT2* Fixed it just by dragging a shortcut to the Startup folder.

It seems you're having the same problem as me ranger... The e-mail and Turbogear buttons just won't work.

Did you find a way to fix them?

Those are not real issues, maybe you have virus on your computers, in mine it works Ok, the only thing that doesn't behave like in vista is the turgo gear button, but that is software related

Yeah, the Turbo Gear hot key does not work yet with any version. Just right click on the taskbar icon to switch modes.

I know that the tubogear button worked for me when I was running vista (home premium, 64-bit) but it's a shame it doesn't work with XP.

in vista, the Turbo Gear Button does behave correctly, the problem appears to be XP related

I just when from vista home premium x64 to xp (didn't like the insane memory load in vista), and my turbogear button also worked in vista. Now, in xp, it does not.

alright then it's settled that it doesn't work in XP. if somehow, someone gets it to work in XP, then they should post up how they got it to work.

also - if you don't have "turbogear help" starting with your startup options (run-msconfig-startup) - turbogear wont run

neither will the disable mouse pad if you don't have synaptics pointing device startup
