6400 - x6800. Word is it will support the x6800, just haven't seen anyone around with one. Go for a e6420 or e6700.

Some companies sell the C90S with aQ6600 Intel quad core. I don't know if they have a special BIOS installed or if they received any other motherboard modifications, though. So chances are it might not work with a "normal" C90S.

And you can't use any of the new 1333Mhz FSB processors because the 945 chipset doesn't support it.

I currenty suggest to stay away from those 2 processors. The E4600 performs better and costs less than the E6420 while the E6600 is $100 cheaper than the E6700. Although the E6600 is already really expensive when you look at the newest C2Ds

As the Q6600 runs at 60C on a desktop. I don't really suggest it on the C90S.

I e-mailed one of those companies offering quad-core C90s and said that I was a potential buyer inquiring on it. They never sent me an e-mail back. I'd go so far as to say they ship with the 2.4ghz C2D and hope you don't check. It really sounds like a scam to me and I would be very wary until asus announces official quad-core support.

I guess each to his own. The only reason I didn't suggest the e6600 is because I've gained a hunch about something with an incompatibility with the e6600 and PCIe Frequency not locking when overclocking your GPU. I currently have a e6420 on the way to test.

Well, Ken from GentechPC said the C90s doesn't support the Quad Core. I don't remember why, though. It might be a scam after all or these companies just don't get their information straight. I've seen some websites offering the C90s with 8Gb of Ram and even one with a 8800GT GPU. But maybe we're both wrong and they actually do ship the C90s with a QC Cpu and it's downclocked and undervolted or you can't use it with the overclocking features, who knows!
