Has anyone ordered a C90S online from a U.S reseller? If so, how much were the brokerage fees/customs costs in total, and also from which reseller did you get yours from? An example would be nice as well.

Should be duties + brokerage + tax.

    So, [(5% to 25%) + ($5 to $30) + (14%)] plus the cost and shipping.

if it was made or "assembled" in notrth america there is no duty. basically tax and considering the dollar is so good it shouldnt be a big deal.

I would suggest buying the C90 from Infonec.com. Their prices are hard to beat in most scenerio. You would probably save more buying from them compare to the US after tax, brokerage, duties.

You will have to pay this->

2.5% exchange rate at paypal (gentech only accepts paypal for Canada and UK) + $65 (brokerage on $1500 package) + 6% GST

The $ are equal right now so...

But Infonec has a reallt nice deal (1400 for E6600 + 1GB RAM, add $40 for another GB OCZ).

Go for gentech if you want the GDDR3 or infonec otherwise imo.

@Coriolis: According to EBAY's FAQ, no duties if seller & shipping location are located in the US/Mexico

Also, if you go for Gentech, you have to know that the 2 UPS worldwide shipping options (those in the $125 range) include the brokerage fee

So what do you guys think I should do? Do I just get the graphics card with the DDR2 from infonec without paying all the cross-border fees, or is it worth it that I go ahead and get the GDDR3 from Gentec? Thanks for the help. And will I be able to upgrade the C90S cards anyway?

Oh and also with this deal:
    http://infonec.com/site/main.php?module=detail&id=350394

What exactly am I getting? I mean the essentials and such.

The only other thing you need is other stick of the same RAM (1GB isnt enough anymore) and the wireless card. Intel 3945 or 4945

You are getting the system + GPU + 1GB RAM + 120GB HDD

True. You think I should get another 2 GB stick for a total of 3 GB or just settle with another 1 GB.

Also I heard a lot of people were having problems installing the wireless card, was this a problem for you?

Oh and also where do you suggest getting the wireless card from?

    Thanks.

Ok nevermind about the wireless card.

But I am still wondering before I purchase how hard it is to install the wireless card?

If you go for Gentech, have them install the hardware (free).

That's the thing, if I go with Gentech all the cross-border fees are gonna cripple me silly. The wireless card for me is very important, and hearing people say it is not easy isn't helping my situation.

they are putting the parts together in NORTH AMERICA. if a cars parts were made in Japan but the actual Car was put together in North America it would be manufactured in north america, i thought it was quite obvious.

than again i might be totally wrong in which you case you can nudge me to shut up
