The C90S looks like a great notebook for performance, price, size, and weight but I'm wondering if I'll be able to get through classes on the battery if I turn off the wifi, turn down the brightness, etc. Anyone have a good idea as to whether the battery life can be extended out to 1h45m if I'm just typing in Word the whole time?

hmmm most people report that 1:30 should be considered the standard in power saver mode...
someone recommended getting a second battery and configuring your laptop to hibernate when the battery gets critical then exchanging batteries this way youll get full 3 hours... i think its the best solution -
I was kinda planning on carrying 2 batteries for 2 classes anyway. I guess I could pick up a 3rd and switch during each class instead of between them. I dunno, at that point I would consider an IFL90 with 2 9cells unless it really takes no time to switch batteries. Any idea how long it takes to hibernate and load back up?

Hibernation and booting while switching batteries should take no more then a minute, more about 30-40 seconds.
You may want to reconsider the c90s if you desire better battery life. -
true if you need portability you might want to look at a santa rosa based notebook or sit close to the plugs in you class

Yeah, I'm prolly going to end up with a IFL90 with a 9cell...unless I can find a way to get a Znote 6324W...lol

i'm pretty sure Zepto will ship internationally. though the prices skyrocket then if you do. Just get a second battery
C90S battery life for note-taking
