Should I take 1-2 or 3 years warranty in your opinion? I need it to last at least 3 years since it will be for school in 2008-9-10 (don't care about the battery, it's a specialised programm and classes are adapted for laptops)

$130 for 3 years isn't that bad, but I know Asus makes good stuff so it shouldn't break... right? The dilema is-> If I don't take it and it breaks, I'll be in a bad shape, if it doesnt break and I take it, I'll be pissed off...

well if you plan to keep this, for 3 years, then i would def get the 3 year warranty.....

about $60 more to go from 2 to 3 years is worth a full year of coverage. plus, after 2 years, who knows, it breaks, they dont sell it anymore, and u get a whole updated computer

I got 3 years, and I dont even plan to keep this a full 2 years, because i always want the best - but i got 3 because i know it will help in reselling it, people are more likely to buy with a warranty
