    Hello,

This kind of question has already been discussed, but not with Windows Seven.

So I wonder how works the memory management on a C90S with Seven Windows 64bit and 4GB RAM ?

Will it use 3gb like now with vista, or 4GB despite the limitation of the chipset ?

    Thanks

I don't think that the limitations of the chipset can be overcome by the OS.

Nope afraid not. The C90S's 945G chipset is limited to around 3.5 Gigs of recognised ram even with a 64 bit OS. One of the reasons why I moved to the C90P as it supports up to 8GB of ram and better processors.

For the time being though it is plenty and windows 7 64 bit should be able to use it intelligently enough.

    Thanks King,
    I'm planing to install W7 64bit when I get a 7200rpm HDD. Soon I hope so.
    I wonder about 4GB instead of 3GB I've today.
