    All,

Wireless works fine on AC power, but when the system is booted on battery power the Intel 4965 AGN wireless card is not present in device manager ... it has disappeared from the system ?.
I was running the 11.5.0.32 driver, then upgraded to 11.5.1.2 - which is when I first noticed the problem. I have since reverted back to 11.5.0.32.
I can't see anything in the power management that would cause this problem - in battery mode the wireless card is set to maximum performance.
    Any help would be appreciated

I had a similar problem with my Intel PRO wireless card recently. I simply completly uninstalled the wireless connection in the network connections folder and then uninstalled the drivers and program. Then rebooted and downloaded the latest drivers and program from intel website. Works fine now for me. This is in XP Pro however not sure if you do same in vista
