Since you are using vista, all you have to do is update your drivers to the newest ones and the hdmi problem (called overscan) will be fixed.

Overscan can be compensated for with drivers and the right settings, but the only true way to correct it is on the monitor itself. That is dependant if it has an option to turn it off.

It may be a option in the menu called overscan, it may be called pc mode. It can be alot of things, consult your owners manual thats the best start.

As for the esata problem, I have not used it yet, I think there was a simple solution to the problem posted on the forums. I would try to search for it and see what you can come up with.

I have booted XP on my internal drive using an E-sata enclosure + powersupply
E-sata is not self powered like usb - which is 5v.
So... Your external drive may need wall (ac) power.

I initially had problems connecting my esata to the C90. My probem was that the esata connector that came with my vantec enclosure did not connect because the metal portion was not long enough. I had to trim off some of the plastic to expose more of the metal portion.

Also I remembered, formatting the drive on another PC using my desktop computer.

Im also having problems with my esata. I have a 500gb external harddrive im trying to connect it through esata and it doesnt recognise it.
It works fine when connected through usb. Ive downloaded the drivers form the asus website, but not sure how i go about installing them.

    Any suggestions?
