There's little more to say than the topic headline, though I can say that the errors are varied to include a basic freeze, 0x4E, 0x50, 0x7F, 0x8E, and a codeless error reporting the ACPI noncompliance of the BIOS. The laptop boots fine as long as it's plugged in, but other than that it will not reach the desktop without at least a blue screen of doom or a complete freezing. Anyone have any solutions? I've updated all drivers/BIOS and still nothing yet.

have u tried using RAM with only 1gb sticks ? ( so far, 1pc. of 2gb RAM ) usually causes the c90 from functioning properly in battery mode.
try using 2pcs. of 1gb sticks.... if u read further in these forums, RAM compatibility is a major issue in the c90. -
Definitely a RAM issue

I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the advice.

If you search the C90S threads, you will find that it is not only a ram issue, but also the cpu.
