Can anyone help me?? My Asus cant find cd/dvd-device - I've tried so many things and nothing seems to help. I've tried to reinstall the drivers and get code39 (Iknow what it means).

    Can someone please help...

I've read about it, but I'm not sure I want to mess with `regedit´. If there are other alternatives I'd rather try them first.

    btw Thank You

well you can always back up your registry before you can make any changes. Other than that I can think of no other alternative
