Change the battery. It's a little watch type one. How old is your system though? I've never had to change one.

how long did you have your notebook for?
    Is it a new model?

    Is it still under warranty?

The CMOS battery should last for more than 8 years. Call Asus and see what they says. could be just a bad battery or maybe its voltage sensor.

CMOS battery should be user replaceable, i'm sure its in the manual.
