    While I'm told it's not a good idea to do this, I'm curious as to what processor could be put on the system board of this laptop.

    you can put a t9400 in it. that is the only thing that makes sense.

    T9400 all the way...:wink:...in fact I think I know where you can get a good deal on one. :D

    Honestly though the processor upgrade process in the G50 is probably about the simplest one you'll find, Asus laid everything out really well. Six screws and you've got it.

    I i were you i would wait the year until your warranty is expired. best buy models come only with 1 year warranty. wait the year, go on ebay, get the cpu for under 100$ and do the upgrade. It pays very little to do it now. I consider a warranty a very important part of the deal. You should too
