I've been racking the internet looking for specific pictures on the LCD disassembly of a G50Vt with a 15.4" screen. I am trying to gather measurements for the possibililty of being able to swap screens between at 15.6" and a 15.4" screen in the G50Vt models, but only have half the info.

So I'm looking for the help of a G50Vt owner that has a 15.4" screen (1650x1080 resolution) to follow the guide for removing ONLY their LCD bezel (Official Asus guide already provided: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=318551 ) and taking some measurements and quite alot of pictures for reference.

Once I get the data for the 15.4" screen, I will compare and hopefully create a guide or have definitive answer on whether or not the swap could be done by comparing it with the data I already have for a 15.6" screen.

If someone or several people are willing to help with collecting this info, I would be greatly appreciative.

Ohman! I just found the notasblurry pictures I took last time I opened my screen!

These are far from technical, but hopefully it gives you an idea of gaps and sizes. If I find a ruler floating around I'll give you measurements. The screen came out alright and I aligned things by eyeing it with a pencil and no ruler. Apologies on the blur, these were taken on the day I got my new camera which has full manual controls. I didn't realize till later how much I suck at manual focus. And how terrible the noise is at ISO 400.
