    Can Asus M50 read Compact Flash at UDMA 5 Mode?

    From my understanding, you can boot Windows from removable media. So I would say, yes, it can be done.

    Be careful though, as CF cards are not designed to withstand large amount of read/write.

    Yep, I know I can boot Windows from it. I'm just wondering if the card reader can read the compact flash card at UDMA 5 mode. Otherwise, I wouldn't consider booting from it as my HD will do fine.
