I have just received this laptop, and I don't know what it is, but this screen is absolutely killing my eyes. I previously had a 16" Toshiba. It was the same resolution and glossy as well, but it didn't cause me any problems for whatever reason. I also notice I can literally see every pixel on my screen and I couldn't on the previous notebook, if that matters. I've heard matte screens reduce eye strain, so would it be possible to buy and install one on this model? I've never done anything like that, but if I can't alleviate this strain, this thing must go back.
