    Can I replace 540m with a 4850m?

    I have an Alienware m17 with 4850's in crossfire but I just bought an N73SV-A3 because I need sandy bridge for work, so my question is.. it possible to swap out the 540m with one of my 4850m's from my m17? The 4850m is a much better card than the 540m :/

    no. it's soldered on the motherboard.
