Can I solve this or is it warranty time?

Today I received a brand new F3S model.

I did not start it up and went directly to upgrading it - added 2Gs of RAM.

The damn thing did not wanna boot, there was no power in it. Then I "played" arround (added battery, removed new RAM, remove cover from RAM) and suddenly it was OK. So I thought its wrong RAM. But I have put it back on and it worked again, hooray.

Unfortunetlly it did not work again, when I "packed" everything together (the cover, tighten screws, etc...).

I then again took everything apart and it worked again ...

But when I "repacked" for the last time it did not work again, and after that I am unable to get it to work. I tried different power supplies, tried to move the plug arround...nothing.

What could be wrong, can I perhaps fix it myself or I have to return it to repair :(

I suggest try to boot it with the standard config (stock RAM and HDD). If it works, then worry about your RAM.

If it doesn't work, then it might be that something is loose or there is a short-circuit when you tighten the screws (bad insulation for the screws?).

    No luck for me.

Still not able to see any power.

Yesterday...when it worked, I had the cover opened, so I doubt for short-circuit. It work with cover ON or OFF.

Is there a way for me to measure anywhere on the mobo if its getting any power. I dont like to take it apart, espacially its a brand new model.

You can measure the current through the DC part of the adapter. If there's any, something is consuming power... But I suggest you just RMA the thing.
