I purchased some ram today for my w3j and noticed it is 5400. The ram I currently have in my w3j is 5300. Will it just down clock the new ram to 5300 speeds? Will I notice a difference between that and 5300? Or would they run at the same speed?

    Thanks.

There is no diffrence between the two. There is a calculation that will give you something like 5342 and companies either round it down to 5300 or up to 5400.

Agreed. Even my W3V which has 6400 work fine downclocked to 4300.
