    Can anyone clear this up?

It looks like the X2B doesn't have eSATA listed, but I can see it in the pic. When I search for the specs on other sites it lists eSATA on the X2B, so newegg probably omitted it in the specsheet. They also don't have altec lansing speakers listed or intel wireless, but on other sites they do. I'm just as confused as you are... maybe somebody who knows the N50 line better can chime in.

Edit: I'm still searching around and the specs I'm getting are identical everywhere... they're probably the same

wierd, i can't spot any difference either. then again, this is asus, well known for releasing just under three million different EEE models... so there might actually be a very minor difference.

If you look closely at the pictures, the difference is that the N50Vn-B1B uses an oversized dummy expresscard :p

All joking aside, I don't think there are any differences besides the SKU. All models with an X suffix are only sold at physical retailers or large e-retailers which IMO are really not fair to smaller and better resellers such as gentech.

Asus does this alot. They release 2 laptops with different model numbers and the same exact specs, or one thing is altered slightly. In this case, it seems that the WiFi card is different in them.

LoooooooL :p I failed to notice that

That is a really good point, and +1 for GenTech (I got my N10J from them, absolutely stellar service). Hard times though, so it's going to be hard to resist that price with the rebate.
