I've always wondered what the others meant like in terms of usage/durability/specs when it comes to the lettering
I know that G series is meant for gaming/multimedia so i know it has a lot of gpu/cpu/ram power and better cooling, but what about the A series? K series? F series? N seies? U series? and etc if i miss a few more.
can you also rank the most expensive, most durable and the cheapest/fragile of em all
Thanks

yes
A for Average
K for Kool with a K
G for __ing
N for Nnovative
U for Ultra Slim
F for Fail
Durable laptops are typically the ones that do not leave your desk. Their u series is a far cry from a netbook. I am a fan of their U. For Durability i would go with a lenovo or toughbook. -

A/K are pretty much the same series, mainstream machines, N is multimedia oriented, U is generally ultraportable. F series doesn't really exist anymore.
If you go to asus.com and click on notebooks, they have them divided into groups like Superior Mobility, Multimedia Entertainment, Gaming Powerhouse, Versatile Performance, Business. -
What about the X series?

X is lumped in there with A and K, pretty much all the same mainstream stuff.

B is the best for build quality. For the highest-end components it's G and N, for the best portability the U and UL series.

Just look at the specs of a F8SN or F8Va (though both are discontinued long time ago). Noone could say they were the worst.

N is multimedia I think, but not optimized for gaming, though I daresay you could run many games on one. F and A seem to be their entry-level offerings, so don't expect much.
The G series seems to be considered their most durable, but it's not particularly portable. If you want both of those, I believe someone already mentioned you should probably look into Lenovo's Thinkpad series.
Can anyone explain the differences between the ASUS line of laptops (A,K,G,N,U,F etc series)
