I'm looking for at least just the power cable to plug into a car lighter slot for an ADP-90sb bb Asus power adapter... I've looked on ebay and online but i just can't find the right one.. It is for an Asus N80 laptop, again at least just the power cable that goes to the adapter... Can anyone help plz?

I think you need an inverter if you plan to use the stock AC adapter, since cars put out DC.

AT first ime like he is looking for a 12v dc car to laptop adapter then i reread his post and he seems to think he can get away with less. There really is no such thing. You can buy adapters that are designed to plug into both wall and car but your existing one isnt for that.

That said i just bought a power inverter. Imagine for slighly more then your spending on one power adapter you will never need another car adapter again as you can just use the one for the wall. Be sure to get one that puts out enough juice myne is only 120 watt continuous good enough for many devices.

Yeah, I've got an inverter and it's saved me numerous times... Beats paying $30+ for every device you want to charge in your car. The only advantage I can see to getting a specific car adapter is that it won't take up as much space, inverters tend to be big and mine gets in the way of my shifter so I put it in my rear socket instead of the front.
