I have a Asus G50V and I am thinking about getting a Asus Eee Netbook (for battery life, since I travel frequently). Is there any way I can use the G50 charger for the netbook as well? Or any other options that would allow me to only drag one charger with me?
Thanks!

No, you can't use the G50 power adapter for the netbook. The power plug to the netbook is much smaller than the one for the G50 laptop. If you can find some kind of adapter then that might work, but I'd still be cautious since the netbook and notebook adapters may run at different output voltages and amps.

Maybe I can use a 3rd party charger, with multiple plugs. Hell, I can probably craft myself something (based on the G50V charger) - as long as the voltage and amps aren't totally different.

Why would you want to though? The G50's charger will be almost as heavy as the netbook itself XD
The wattage would worry me. The G50 comes with what? A 120v? I don't think any netbooks come with a charger bigger than 6ov -
I would want to because I may want to bring both a netbook and a laptop with me at the same time. And if I can keep it to one charger, that would be a plus.
The G50 comes with a 120W charger. It is really of no concern what wattage the charger has, or am I wrong? The voltage would be my main concern.
I mean, if whatever is plugged in doesn't require as many watts, then the amps used would simply go down, right? When you don't have the laptop connected, it's not gonna pull 120W. -
When it says "120w" that means it's rated for 120w max power.
It doesn't mean when you plug it in to the laptop it's going to always draw that much power. The only concern now is if the output voltage of the laptop adapter and the netbook adapter are the same. If they're the same, theoretically if the plugs are the same you can use the laptop adapter for both the laptop and the netbook. If they plugs aren't the same, I suppose you can make a homebrew adapter
Can laptop and netbook share charger?
