    Can somebody take a picture with the 0.3MP webcam?

    The Asus A8JS has 0.3MP webcam, and I'm wondering how good the quality of the image is.

    I figured anybody with 0.3MP webcam would be fine. Since Vaio FZ has 0.3MP webcam, maybe a lot more laptops carry the same webcam..

    0.3MP is just a picture with with the resolution 640x480. Here are some pictures i took with my phone, its a 2MP but i set it to that resolution which means it takes at .3MP.

    Many people get confused with megapixels and image quality. The image quality depends on the lens. Megapixels only refer to the size of the image. So 0.3 megapixels displays 640×480 images, 1.3 megapixels displays 1280×1024.

    The actual quality of the images depends on the lens of the webcam more than the size of the image.
