I have had my c90 since the end of August and it has worked great. Not too long ago when I would boot up after the windows loading screen, a screen w/ a bunch of colored lines would show up and it wouldn't go to the windows login screen. After several times of rebooting it would work. Now when I go to boot up it gets to the windows loading screen and then after that I see a blue screen of death, but it only shows for less then a second, goes away and then the computer reboots.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

About the problem: it seems that either the GPU is acting up, or the GPU drivers are bad.
I'm guessing the latter because it only happens after the Windows boot screen.
Here's what to do: boot in safe mode (press F8 right at the the Windows boot screen, choose safe mode) and remove the GPU drivers. Reboot and install the stock drivers from the CD, at least temporarily.
While you're at it, also disable automatic restart on blue screens. I don't remember the exact way to do that right now; click on the XP guide linked in my signature you'll find it there. (search for "automatic restart" on that thread) After you do this you will see what the blue screen actually says. But I'll bet it's something about the video driver files. -
If you wanna see the Bluescreen to see whats wrong tap the F8 key on boot until the Windows Boot Menu shows up and there is an option to disable auto reboot. Now you should be able to read it, other then that repair install or clean install might be your only ways to go. You might also wanna try a program called Memtest to see if there are any issues with your RAM or DiscDoc to see if you HDD is ok. Both you should be able to find for free on the web, you'll need to burn the ISO to disc and boot to them via the Esc key on boot.
If its a graphics drive you should be able to see it ones you disable auto reboot, this is a simple fix. Just go to the Windows Boot Menu, select Safe Mode, uninstall old drivers, reboot find new drivers and install. If the GPU is dead, your screwed and RMA/Warranty or buy a new one are your only two options. -
hmmmm the blue screen says:

hard drive? if you have more than one partition I would install an os onto the spare and see if it works, that or if you have nothing to lose do a fresh install over the old one.

Wooot fixed it. Did a chkdsk then a fixboot and was able to boot to windows.

Yep. If you do have stuff to lose then use a LiveCD to backup your data; or just plug out the HDD and drop it in an enclosure, copy from it to the desktop.
But FIRST, I still think you should try the Windows Safe Mode, and remove the GPU drivers and any other software that you have recently installed and you think that might be causing this. -
Edit: just saw you fixed it. Heh that's nice.
You might still wonder why the boot sector good screwed... maybe a HDD test won't hurt. -
Yea, I am going to do a HHD test.
