I tried to install the latest 5.6 Catalyst driver on my Z70v, but I got an error message saying that "ATI could not find compatible hardware..." I installed the driver from the utilities CD with no problems. Before trying the new driver, I uninstalled all existing ATI software, rebooted in Safe Mode, ran Driver Cleaner, rebooted and tried installing 5.6 which led to that error message. I went back and re-installed the original diver without any trouble.

    Dis don't make no sense!!!

It does make sense... Don't use ATI's drivers unless you're getting them from Asus........ Or if you want something that might have a better shot at working, wait until the new omega drivers are out based on 5.6 ... should be a couple weeks.

    Thanks,
    Justin

Im dont want to get annoyed but kinda getting sick of replying to this question, it is almost weekly that this question pops up.
You have to mod the ati drivers first or as pro said use the omega's.
There is a mod tool at driver heaven, do a search on this forum or google for it.
