So on the networking settings, the wi-fi recognizes my wireless router and I type in my key and when I click ok, it says connecting... but then it disconnects it...

the key is the same passwords as I would log in through my older laptop which runs in XP...(The vista is weird, i have to click a refresh button on my router in order to connect it... and once I do that it connects it automaically the next time I run the OS)...

    Am I doing something wrong???
(and now I type this question, I kinda feel this question belongs to Express Gate...or even my wireless router forum...O_O)
and btw my router is D-Link N-Gigabit wireless Router...

Have your tried reinstalling your wifi driver with a newer version from the Asus website? Also updating your router's firmware may help.
