    Cannot install Asus live update.

    HI.
    I have a notebook Asus K53E.
    so when I try to install Asus Live Update, it gives me next error:
    "Sorry, this program only supports ASUS notebook!". :confused:

    Did you do a clean install of windows 7? BTW many here will advise not to use ALU, it has proved not to be reliable in the past;just go here for latest drivers ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download

    Kudo's to brody boy- I had no idea that you had to have ATK first!

    You need to install the ATK package for your model.

    That is also the reason Live Update didn't install, BTW....ASUS program installers looks for model identifying information that is included in the ATK package. But as previously advised, Asus Live Update is bad software anyway. Just get your drivers directly from your model's product page or the thread referenced below.
