I've bought recently a Zenbook 3 UX390UA through Amazon.co.uk from a re-seeler named "Laptop Outlet UK", which provides services to Tesco.
    (Here is the add: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B0749PCLJK/ref=dp_olp_new_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=new)
However, when trying to register the laptop in Asus website the message displayed weas that the Serial number was already been registered.

Can someone please advise me on how to proceed?
Is the re-seller selling refurbished laptops as new or this is something common and Asus support should be able to correct this?

I'd suggest calling Asus customer support and asking them to give you a hand with this.
