I don't understand why I cant get an actual number, temp wise, from any hardware monitoring program. For example on Speedfan I only get a CPU reading. This is the same on Everest. On Asus NB Probe, what I am currently using, I only get normal in the place where degrees should be on both CPU and CPU fan there is only the word normal. Also, there is no reading for the HD, only the letter S in a box. Any help as to why my laptop is not picking up the actual numbers would be great. It used to and I cant figure out what has changed.
