So I went to best buy yesterday to get a power inverter for my laptop. I started with a 100 watt because i figured it would be enough since it says it consumes 90w. That turns off because it wasn't powerful enough... returned it, got a 150 watt, same thing. Returned that one, got a 200 watt... same thing. Does anyone have a power inverter that they know works for this laptop? I would really like to be able to have it charge in my car and on a plane if i ever need to travel.

it may not be the power invertor. I was having problems with mine when I changed cars. Make sure the supply in the car is powerful enough and if need be take leads directly from the battery and pop in an inline fuse.

I have a 250w invertor for mine and i run an external hard drive too
