    ATI Catalyst? Mobility Display Driver

    They started adding support for SC2, which is what im lookin for atm honestly. So im wonderin if this version of the caty is safe, or like the 10.4 and 10.5 it'll break my OS and cause me to need to format again.

    after updating i had a GSOD lockup and used system restore to recover...waiting for new ones from ASUS...but something tells me its not going to happen

    Wow, really? What did ATI do to their drivers that it keeps doing this to our laptops?!

    are there any desktop drivers we can crack to work on the laptops by fiddiling with the inf's or something?

    It isnt the ATI drivers. Its the cruddy Asus vBios so stop complaining about ATI. They did change clock settings to improve 2D stability, but that hasnt compromised the stability on any other machine with the mob. 5870.
