I'm trying to change the default actions of my quick launch buttons on my W2. I'm looking to change both the buttons below the power button and those that are in combination with the "Fn" key.

Again I'm specifically looking to change the actions; everything is working the way they should by default so this is not a question of getting them working as designed. I have all the drivers and utilities installed.

Another item about the keys that I have not been able to figure out is which driver/utility controls which key? It would have been nice if one control or customization utility were able to configure all the keys in one place.

What I would really like is to have the buttons below the power button to control:

    Wlan
    Bluetooth
    Mute/volume
    Power level

I tried to search for this info, but the posts I found were all related to getting them working, not changing how they work. I did find one post in another user group about changing media control buttons on the V6 but have not been able to translate it process to what I am trying to do.

    Any ideas?

    David,

You're not going to do it easily...... if you could recode the driver that runs it - it should be a breeze.... it's hidden out in one of the windows folders.

    Justin,

The post I found on the V6 was for registry entries. I have no problem making them if this would do it. I have programmed apps that make registry entries and store user data in the registry, anything in there that could control it?

Also the second part of the question, is there a list of what utilities/driver need to be installed to enable which quick launch button?
