    Hi guys,

my sister's laptop charger is not functioning, reason being the wire is cut from where it connects to adapter. Can I claim this under warranty? I know Dell replaced a charger without questions asked.

Also, is anyone having trouble accessing the ASUS members section? I get a white page, tried all three browsers IE, chrome and firefox. :(

That's physical damage so I doubt it.

How on earth did it get cut? Not suring operation I hope as that woukd be dangerous.

It may be covered under accidental warranty if you have one. Otherwise they likely will not replace one for you under standard warranty.

I'm unable to access the login page for Asus at the moment as well. Their site seems to have issues often, but they are quick to resolve them. :)

Wont hurt to ask them, worse they can say is no. ADP covers drops, spills, and surges. It also depends on where you bought it from, most big box stores are excluded. And usually the notebook and AC Adapter have different warranties
