    Chipset ID utility reads GM965?

    Well if you read my signature you will know what laptop I have. I know that essentially the PM965 and GM965 are the same except for the GM coming with integrated graphics and the PM open for vendors to play around with. My question is why using the Intel Chipste Identification utility it reads that I have the GM965 when Asus claims this laptop has the PM965?

    And here is a more advanced question, does any body know of any other technical differences between the two chipsets. Do not spare me any details, I am an Electrical electronics engineering student so I will know exactly what you are talking about if you do tell me...
