I'm currently using an Asus M6BN (its awesome), but i've been having some trouble with the checkmail utility. Since i've gotten it, it hasnt worked. I'm using microsoft outlook express so i dont see why i should have a problem, perhaps its because i'm connected to an IMAP server? What do you think? Is there any way to configure it or possibly look at how it works, and also do i have to have outlook express on all the time for it to work? How often does it check the email....thats alot of questions i know haha and i apologize in advance. Your help will be much appreciated!

By the way if theres anyone else who has trouble with the system shutting off when being lifted on the right side when it is running on battery, email me @ [email protected] and i'll tell you how you can fix this problem.

If you're using Outlook Express then you need to keep it running all the time. If the LED is turned on, it will turn off within about a second after you exit OE.

You could use the code I posted in the other ChkMail thread in this forum. It works with all the mail programs, whether they're running or not.
