So I got annoyed with the asus bloatwares, didn't create the recovery disks and... the newly installed laptop won't connect to internet... The model is U47vc. What do I do? And connecting a usb or a external hardrive won't work either =/
and the F9 is definitely not working

I had a CD/DVD with drivers from Asus in my box. It's the only way.
Or just use another computer to download and burn them on a DVD.
Asus is the first laptop I have that Windows 7 can't install any driver for LAN/WiFi. BT seems active. Check it out, maybe it's a solution to DL on your phone or something and send them via BT to the laptop. -
I have tested on a G75 right now. BT is active from Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Also USB works (tested with USB 2.0 HDD) from same OS.
These are your options. -

download and burn yourself a disk for future use -
It is a simple program that needs to be installed and it can be used to find any type of driver. I hope you find it helpful. You might want to plug a ethernet cable to your laptop and use wired internet and then install the wireless driver. Cheers! How to check motherboard drivers | KMBytes.com
