    You can only install a non OEM copy by disabling UEFI in the BIOS setup. You also need to disable Secure Boot to boot off of your installation media.

    Remember that if you do a full install, you'll also need a valid product key at installation. Unlike Windows 7, Windows 8 has no trial period.
