    Cleaning Asus G51

    Can you remove the grill on the Asus G51? It's the one place that the dust seems to collect. I have no idea how to clean it.

    Any ideas?

    the speaker grille u mean? yes i have like sh*tloads of lil strand particles and whatnot and it bothers me sometimes...help rite HEEYA?

    Vacuum it? I haven't tried, but that's what I would do. Yeah, it gets dusty as hell.

    someone suggested tape in another thread, I'll be trying it soon, sounds like a viable idea.

    ive tried vacumming, and also some tape. seem to work ok but when i tried taking it off... scratched some of the paint on the side. no big deal

    taping the dust out? scatches the paint? haha this is like the 'hood way of removing it...i was expecting some dismantling lol

    i wont do this if it removes paint, anyone esle tried it haha?

    I tried using tape to pull the dust hairs out. Works a little but not quite good enough. I think I might need to use tweezers for the bigger stuff yeesh!

    Actually just thought something. I have this sticky gum stuff for temporarily sticking things up on a wall. If it doesn't get stuck in the holes it might work!

    Anyone have tips? I tried cyberclean, compressed air, and vacumming, but none worked.
    Would taking the grill off be hard to clean it?
